We journey north, leaving the city behind, towards Yanchep National Park for a brief comfort stop and a chance to spot koalas and kangaroos in their natural habitat. From there, we continue to Nambung National Park, home to the mystical Pinnacles Desert. Enjoy a leisurely walk through this otherworldly landscape, taking in the unique formations that make this place so captivating.
If time allows, consider visiting the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre, where you can delve deeper into the area’s cultural and natural significance.
After exploring the Pinnacles, we head to the coastal town of Cervantes, renowned for its lobster industry. Here, take a behind-the-scenes tour of a working lobster factory to see how Western Australia’s Rock Lobster is processed. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious fish and chip lunch, or opt to upgrade to half a grilled lobster for an additional supplement.
Following lunch, we make our way back towards Perth with a stop in the Swan Valley, an iconic food and wine region. Sample an array of local delights, including gourmet chocolate, nougat, and nuts, as we take in the flavours of this renowned destination.
With our appetites satisfied, we travel back to Perth via Guildford Road, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
