We journey south from Perth, passing scenic farmland with grazing cattle and charming coastal towns. Our first stop is Busselton, the gateway to the Margaret River Region, where you’ll have time to enjoy morning tea (own expense) and take in the views of the Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. (Please note: there is not enough time to walk its full length.)

Continuing into the heart of Margaret River, we visit a boutique brewery for a delicious lunch, complemented by beer and cider tastings. Before the meal, enjoy sampling local wines from this renowned region. (Venue may change due to unforeseen circumstances.)

Next, we explore the stunning Mammoth Cave on a guided tour, where vast chambers reveal fascinating insights into the region’s ancient flora and fauna. We then travel through the majestic Boranup Forest, home to towering Karri trees, before arriving at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in Augusta—the point where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet, a truly remarkable sight.

On our way back, we stop briefly in the Margaret River township for a chance to stroll the main street. After an unforgettable day experiencing the best of this diverse region, we return to Perth, with a comfort stop en route, arriving at approximately 8:30 pm.
