Explore the Swan & Chittering Valleys on a fruit picking day tour from Perth, tasting fruit fresh from the tree as well as delicious treats from Swan Valley gourmet tasting venues.
We visit beautiful orchards in the Chittering Valley, where you can pick citrus fruit straight from the tree. Your orchard guide will tell you all about the fruit and the farmlands and cut open fruit for you to sample.
Enjoy a scenic tractor ride through the orchard, as you enjoy the views and peace & quiet of the farm life.
Between September and November, pick strawberries straight from the vine (eating as you go!) until your box is filled. Grapes are ripe for picking between January and April, to pick and eat your fill.
Enjoy some of the Swan Valley’s acclaimed local gourmet produce between your fruit picking. Taste honey and enjoy all the different varieties. We also stop at Yahava Coffee for a caffeine hit and to learn about how the coffee is made.
Your private group can choose a small standard lunch of fish and chips at Whistlers Cafe in the Swan Valley or upgrade to a Swan Valley vineyard lunch from a menu with a glass of wine/ beer ($20 per adult).
Duration: 10 hours (9am – 5pm)
Your tour guide will collect your tour group from your hotel or accommodation at approximately 9am. The tour then heads east towards the beautiful Swan Valley.
The first stop of the day is at Yahava Coffee to learn about how the coffee is made and get your caffeine hit 🙂
The tour then heads to the Orchards in the Chittering Valley, where you can pick citrus fruit straight from the tree. Your orchard guide will tell you all about the fruit and the farmlands and cut open fruit for you to sample.

After a morning fruit-picking, the tour heads to the Swan Valley for lunch. Your private group can choose a small standard lunch of fish and chips at Whistlers Cafe in the Swan Valley or upgrade to a Swan Valley vineyard lunch from a menu with a glass of wine/ beer ($20 per adult).
After lunch, we pitstop at the House of honey to taste all the amazing honey varieties before hopping back on board the bus for some strawberry or grape picking. Once your box is filled, the tour heads back to the city of Perth for approximately 5pm.
