Where To Go Fruit Picking In and Around Perth

There is nothing better than biting into freshly picked fruit and Perth has a wide variety of fruit picking experiences available. From Apples, Pears, Grapes and Strawberries to Citrus fruit varieties, Perth has a wide array of fresh local produce to suit all palettes.

As fruits are seasonal, it is important to check with each fruit picking farm in advance.

The Core Cider House

Core Cider House offers an array of fruit picking experiences, depending on which fruits are in season. In summer (Dec – Feb), pick your own juicy plums, whilst Autumn lets you taste pears, apples, persimmons, pomegranates and quince right from the tree.  July and August are Orange harvest time. Golden Grove Orchard

Pick oranges, mandarin, grapefruit, lemons and limes from the orchard. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Bullsbrook Strawberry Farm

Pick delicious juicy red strawberries right off the vine. Strawberry picking season is usually late winter, spring up until early summer. Please check their website for updates.

Perth Mango Farm

Perth’s cold winter has proved to be advantageous for Mango growing, giving them a wonderful flavour and sweetness. Mango season is February to March each year.
